Gym Equipment

Because we know everyone is at different point in their fitness journey, we have a vast array of many different types of workout equipment. From machines to free weights to cardio equipment, we have it all! There’s something for the gym novice, for the veteran, and for everyone in-between at the Versailles Fitness Center.

We are a multi-level facility, divided into six different exercise sections, each designed for a specific purpose. Offering a wide variety of equipment from staples like treadmills, free weights, and weight machines; to unique items like Jacob’s Ladder, power sleds, and boxing equipment, the Versailles Fitness Center is perfect for the routine folks and for the more adventurous. We have everything you need to for a total-body workout, with cardio equipment and weight equipment that can be used to train your upper body, lower body, and core. 

If you are new to the gym, never fear! Many of the stations are equipped with video lessons explaining how to use the equipment and what muscle(s) the equipment targets. Additionally, during office hours (Monday – Thursday: 11AM – 7PM, Friday: 11AM – 4PM, and Saturday: 9AM – 12PM), our knowledgeable staff is happy to answer any questions you may have and provide guidance if needed. And, if you’ve been going to the gym for years, that’s great too! The Versailles Fitness Center has everything you need to break through your current fitness goals and to help you conquer new ones. 

Main Gym Equipment

Our main gym is designed for general fitness. Anyone of any fitness level can feel comfortable in this space. It’s perfect for those new to the gym and for the self-proclaimed gym rats.   

Our main gym is filled with both machines and free weights to work your upper body, lower body, and abs. Equipment here includes a row machine, a chest press, a tricep extension, a pullup bar, a leg press, a squat machine, a decline ab bench, a smith machine, and medicine balls.

Upstairs Gym Equipment

In our upstairs gym, we have an area designed for lighter  activity, rather than heavy weightlifting. The upstairs gym is a spacious, open area useful for activities such as core training, bodyweight exercises, flexibility training, endurance training, and boxing. 

In this gym, we have a few pieces of basic upper body and lower body equipment; full-body workout equipment, such as battle ropes and a weighted sled; spin bikes and fan bikes; and other multipurpose equipment, such as box-jumping boxes, TRX bands, and yoga balls.

Free Weight Room Equipment

The free weight room is located downstairs and is designed primary for heavy lifting. Because there are no established instructions on how to use the weights and because the weights can be used to train many different muscle groups, you will need prior weightlifting experience and/or education before being able to fully utilize the free weight room. 

Here we have equipment to work both the upper and lower body, including a skull bench press, an incline shoulder press, a reverse squat press, and a seated calf raise.

Ladies Only Gym Equipment

Ladies, we know it can sometimes be uncomfortable and intimidating to go to a crowded gym packed with men. Additionally, women often have very different fitness goals than men that they want to achieve, which means training often looks different for men and women. These are a few of the reasons why we created this space just for the ladies.

In our ladies only gym, we have equipment for what is typically more aligned with women’s fitness goals and preferences. As such, this gym is designed for a higher emphasis on cardio, lower body, and ab training. More specific equipment items include a calf extension, a glute/hamstring raise, a leg press, an ab coaster, a stair climber, and stationary bikes.

Warehouse Gym Equipment

Our warehouse gym serves gives those who want to experiment with a less traditional way of working out a place to do so. This gym has a number of air machines, which use air as a form of resistance rather than weight. This means working out with these machines is typically safer than with traditional workout equipment, making it ideal for novices to the gym or for those coming off of or highly susceptible to injury. 

Here we have equipment for lower body, upper body, and abs. Some specific equipment in our warehouse gym includes an air chest press, an air lat pulldown, an air leg extension, and an air leg curl, Jacob’s Ladder, and an air ab crunch.

Cardio Room Equipment

Our cardio room is designed to be used for exactly what it sounds like: cardio! We give those who want to build their endurance and overall health through cardio their own space, so they don’t have to worry about other gym members getting in their way and vice versa. Equipped with televisions for entertainment, the cardio room is the perfect place for you to do a quick warmup before your workout or to complete your entire workout. 

For a bit of variety to your cardio, this space has treadmills, an elliptical, and a recumbent bicycle.
